Kensington House
A dramatic extension to an Edwardian weatherboard house, this project achieves balance between old and new with similar materials and forms. The modern design features – visible from a side street – are sympathetic to the heritage neighbourhood character. Northern sun is captured through clerestory windows with outlook directed towards local trees. The living spaces are arranged around a deck, providing visual connection while offering convenient separation. The rear extension is home to the main bedroom suite, away from the other bedrooms for future-proofed family living.
